My name is Dania and I’m a business, portrait and family photographer. I was born in Siberia, Russia, where I have started way as a professional photographer. In 2022 I moved to the USA to Colorado and brought my love to visual art here.
It’s been 15 years I started creating photographs. It was long and interesting way of discovering myself and my passion to photography. I’m so grateful that I can continue this passion of mine in Colorado.
I’m also happy to grow here my passion to videography.

My story and my experience
In high school I liked to take photos, and often imagined scenes from life around me as photographs. My dad knew about my passion and gave me an SLR camera for my 18 birthday.
After school I attended University to study Journalism and Photojournalism. In 2012 I graduated with honor and to start work for local media as a journalist and a photojournalist and took reportage photographs. I worked as a journalist almost for 8 years.
In 2018 I realized that I want to make commercial photography my main profession. I took a lot of courses, participated in workshops about photoshop and professional commercial photography. I have started to take individual and family portraits.
In 2019 I got a job at a company that provided photo and video services to commercial organizations. I was assigned to work as a photographer and videographer in the marketing department at a private hospital. I really believe that this work changed me and the way I looked at photography. I also started to practice videography at that time.
I worked at the Hospital for 3 years and I deeply loved this work. I took photos and videos of doctors, surgeries, medical equipment, and events for advertising purposes.
This is not only technical photography, but very much about human photography, because medicine is about people.
It’s about the concentrated eyes of the surgeon during the operation and the hands that literally do miracles. My marketing team and I tried to show the beauty and humanity of medicine through our work.
In addition, an important part of my work at the Hospital was commercial photography of clients in the perinatal department of the Hospital. I photographed childbirth — the first cry, the first emotions of meeting the baby, the first tears, the first feeding. Filming a birth is very hard, but seeing new life is a miracle, and after each shoot I felt happiness and kindness.
I also took the first family photo, shooting with the newborn babies in the Hospital room on the 2-3rd day after birth. At that time I felt in love with family photography.
Why do I love family photography?
I believe that photographs of the first days of babies, and photographs of childhood in general, are very important both for children and parents. In childhood builds the closest connection and unconditional love between parents and children, and photographs that preserve this become a strong support in the future, as a reminder of that unconditional love. This is why I love family photography.
Scine 2018 I also worked as a private business, portrait and family photographer. To take pictures of people, their loves, their families and their work is my main passion.
I believe that photography it is not just an opportunity to preserve a moment, but much more. Photography has a power to helps us to see and convey the beauty of the life and people.
I want more people have opportunity to get this miracle. I do my best to put my vision in to every shoot: individual portrait, family or business photography.
